Firstly, to collect an application fee, we require your management bank account to be setup for Payshift.
Any bank account can be designated as the management bank account. This designation is made by checking the option shown below. It is required that the account designated as the management bank account, be setup for Payshift in order to collect an application fee.
After designating an account as the management account, you'll notice that it is labeled as such.
At this point, you can begin requiring payment of an application fee. This can be done by adding the application fee amount when adding or editing an existing application.
Now, when an applicant submits the lease application, they will be required to pay this fee. That payment will then be deposited to your management designated bank account.
