How do I change tenant's email address or add someone else to the account?
This is a fairly common issue if a tenant wants to setup their parents for access to pay their rent. Often times a parent or someone else will contact you, the manager requesting to get access. In this case, you'll want to edit the email address on file to the new email address and ask the tenant to use the forgot password option when attempting to login. It will then forward them an email with instructions on resetting the password to the account so they can access it.
It's important to note that this will retain the same account details that have been stored on this tenant account, name, username, payment details, etc. So, when doing this, be certain that it's the same person which is allowed access to these details!
Do not use this option to add a new tenant to a unit after a turnover! Instead move out this tenant and add a new one!
