Inventory Tracking

Need the ability to track property inventory: washer, dryers, blinds, etc.  Theoretically the item tracked could also have a button within the inventory where I could click to create a work order and monitor work orders on items being tracked for a certain property.  If I knew how to write code I'd put a small icon near the "notes, map, folder" icon on each property and it would be called "Inventory Tracking."  When clicked it would open and allow me to create a list of items tracked for that property including info such as cost of item, year purchased, brand, model, serial number, etc.
